SSC CEO Guest on Small Business Radio Show

Suite Spot Commerce CEO, Daniel Hill will guest host Beth and Monica's Small Business Marketplace, a Phoenix valley radio show designed to help entrepreneurs.

The show, produced by local personality Mark Shander, airs the third Saturday of each month on KFHX 1620AM in the Phoenix metro and is simoulcast on the station's website, KFHX.org.

Mr. Hill will be interviewed March 19th by Monica Mariani and Beth Gallob, the show's co-hosts, about the top mistakes that new online retailers make which stunt their growth:

The "If you build it they will come" mentality: Due to the complexities of online retail, many new ventures fail to plan properly - and are left struggling for sales. Mr. Hill will discuss the basics of proper planning for an online retail venture.

Lack of appropriate reporting: You wouldn't run your offline business without having controls built in to analyze your weaknesses...why would you run your internet business any differently? Discussion of what reporting metrics you'll need to run a successful online retailer.
Inadequate e-commerce software: Too many online businesses are built around the capabilities of the software they've been stuck with. Good planning ahead of time can help you get a system designed around your business need - and be the difference between success or failure.

Small retailers feel constant pressure to leverage the internet as a distribution channel, or be left behind. Many find that internet retail is not as straightforward as it might seem on the surface, and end up struggling for online sales. "I'm excited to have you on the show.
